Amy spent years teaching abroad and during her time working with high-risk young adults in alternative educational environments she recognized her passion was in helping empower individuals struggling with their lives.
In 2016, Amy enrolled in a Masters in Counselling program and opened her practice in 2020. Amy uses a range of therapeutic modalities to best assist her clients with their therapeutic goals which include, EMDR, CBT, DBT, and creative forms of play therapy. Her passion when working with her clients is to create a safe and compassionate therapeutic alliance which facilitates healing, growth and change.
