The Meaford Community Awards, presented by the Meaford Chamber of Commerce and the Rotary Club of Meaford, returns for its 22nd year at 6pm on March 28th at the Meaford Golf Course. There’s no charge to attend this event.

This year’s event will have a new format as it will be combined with the Meaford Chamber of Commerce’s Annual General Meeting, and will feature Guest Speaker, Robert Voigt of Parkbridge Lifestyle Communities Inc. This event will provide an opportunity for attendees to network with local residents, business people and municipal representatives, as well as support and recognize local businesses.

The Meaford Community Awards acknowledges the contributions to our community made by the businesses and volunteers in 2019. The Chamber honours winners and nominations in eight (8) community award categories. This year, we are very proud to once again have the Rotary Club of Meaford on hand to present the Rotary Citizen of the Year Award. The Rotary Club’s Youth Citizen of the Year Award is also included on the Nomination Form but this award will be presented by the Rotary Club at a future date at the Georgian Bay Community School.
