The Rotary Club of Meaford provides assistance to local initiatives such as Backpacks for Learning, the Meaford Public Library, volunteer gardening program, Meaford Spring Cleanup (Baggy), Meaford Food Bank and Outreach, Adopt A Star, and many more. The Rotarians also support world-wide initiatives, highlighted by Tanzanian water well projects, the eradication of polio initiative, purchasing shelter boxes sent to natural disaster sites, along with other projects developed through the Rotary Foundation.
